Drummer Boy
Drummer Boy honors the bravery of Black soldiers who played a decisive role in the outcome of the US Civil War. It acknowledges the fierce legacy of their African ancestors and the real, hard challenges these men and women faced to win their freedom.
Drummer Boy will be performed at this year’s Juneteenth Celebration at Centennial Park, Nashville. Gratitude for Metro Arts Thrive Grant awarded to AfricaNashville for this occasion.
Belmont University Juneteenth Celebration
The Belmont Juneteenth Celebration is a FREE cultural festival of arts, crafts, music, food, and more. Join us at Belmont University from 11-1pm to celebrate with us.
