Our mission is to promote cross cultural relationships between celebrated African and American artists and provide hands-on artistic and educational exchanges from our respective cultures through music and dance. We train the upcoming generation of dancers and drummers within the Nashville community to help African music find its rightful place in Music City.

Weekly Adult Community West African Dance Classes in Nashville with Ibro Dioubate and local musicians. All levels welcome!

  • Mondays 6:45-8pm at Coleman Community Center, $5 drop in fee

  • Wednesdays 11:15am-12:15pm at Sevier Park Community Center, $5 drop in fee

Weekly West African Percussion Classes in Nashville with Ibro Dioubate:

  • Tuesdays & Wednesdays 6-7:15pm in Edgehill, $20 drop in fee. Reductions offered for numerous classes.
